NEW GRADES AT THE SUMMERCAMP

During the summercamp we had some very special moments and new grades.
Ingemar Sköld was graduated to 9th dan in Sport Ju-Jutsu at the summercamp.
The degree was confirmed and submitted by RGK and Bertrand Amoussou (Fra), 3-time World Champion in Ju-Jutsu and an internationally recognized practitioner of 5 dan in judo. Ingemar met Bertrand the first time in 1994 and over the years they have trained for and with one another. Bertrand held a short speech about Ingemar where he pointed out the uniqueness of such a high level, the uniqueness of Ingemar, and that he was very honored that he was asked to confirm and communicate the degree.
Ingemar has practiced ju-Jitsu since 1979 and competed in early with great success. Ingemar won during his career, five European Championship gold, SM gold and finished with gold in DM in Stockholm. In the early 80′s he was very involved in laying the foundations for ju-jutsuns large expansion in the Nordic countries by traveling and instructing at clubs almost every other weekend. Ingemar has instructed without interruption for 25 years at the Easter camp in Linköping, northern camp in Umeå and his own creation Elitlägret. Ingemar has been a national team coach for several years and led Sweden to its biggest successes over the years. In 1997, Ingemar created the style Sport Ju-Jutsu and the SJJ Scandinavia organization together with Ricard Carneborn. The organization changed its name in 2007 to Dynamix Fighting Sports and Sports ju-jutsu is one of three axes.
Big congratulations to Ingemar from everybody in Dynamix!
Ricard Carneborn was graduated to 5th dan in Sport Ju-Jutsu at the summercamp.
At the summercamp Ricard Carneborn was prepared to graduate to 4th Dan, but after completing his graduation he was awarded the degree of 5th Dan in Sport Ju-Jutsu. RGK had decided to move Ricard two steps as he for many years have had to low degree according to his training experience and qualifications.
After the graduation, which contained both Sport Ju-Jutsu, boxing and mixed martial arts techniques and sparring Ingemar sat down together with Ricard in a simple but evocative ceremony and talked about their relationship as teacher and student but also their deep friendship and their work around the Sport Ju- Jutsu and Dynamix. Ricard received rewards in the form of a meditation cushion and Japanese chopsticks when Ingemar thought he learned Ricard to move quickly on the mat but he still had much to learn Ricard to just sit still and do nothing:). Ingemar closed by reading a poem that followed them both over the years.
Ricard started training Ju Jitsu for Ingemar 1986 and has since practiced continuously. Ricard competed in the national team for 10 years and has four World Championships bronze and gold 10 Swedish Championships among his merits. The last six years he has focused mostly on BJJ and MMA but instructs continuously in Sport Ju-Jutsu and follows the technological developments.
